What an adventure this was! Did you know that the Isle of Barra in Scotland's Outer Hebrides has the only airport with scheduled flights in the world that uses a beach runway? At high tide, it's entirely flooded by the sea, but they managed to squeeze in a morning and afternoon landing while the tide is out.
