At 8:15 a.m., a high-speed chase through Ferndale came to an end near Church and Thornton. According to a local scanner listener Marc Urban, law enforcement reportedly deployed spike strips, a K-9 unit, and a police drone to assist in the pursuit. The suspect allegedly attempted to flee on foot but was ultimately apprehended.
