Officials in San Jose announced that a 4th of July drone show would take place at Lake Cunningham after Tuesday's explosion at a fireworks warehouse in Yolo County led to the cancellation of the fireworks display.

SAN JOSE – A major explosion at a pyrotechnics facility in Yolo County has forced the cancelation of a Fourth of July fireworks display at Lake Cunningham Park in San Jose, but a celebration will still take place, according to an city official.

While some Fourth of July celebrations have been canceled, numerous cities and venues throughout Santa Clara County are going all out with festivities and fireworks. There are eight light shows across the county ready to dazzle residents.
