Trump border czar Tom Homan connected Democratic politicians' anti-ICE rhetoric to violence against immigration officers after a Texas officer was shot.

Federal investigators say a police officer was shot during an "organized ambush" outside an ICE detention facility in Alvarado on July 4. Ten people are in custody.

Alvarado police offers were dispatched to the detention center in the 1200 block of Sunflower Lane around 10:56 p.m. Friday, according to the Johnson County sheriff’s office. The call was made to investigate a report of “a suspicious person.”
