According to LA Sports Hub’s Brian Sampson, the Lakers could reunite their recently added big man, Deandre Ayton, with a 32-year-old former Rookie of the Year to round out their roster.

The former No. 1 overall pick became an unrestricted free agent after being bought out by Portland and clearing waivers.

Deandre Ayton reportedly had a messy tenure that ultimately led to the Portland Trail Blazers buying out his contract, but his new squad could help put some of his past issues behind him.
