Mexican boxer Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. was detained and is in the process of being deported from the United States just days after fighting social media influencer Jake Paul in a high-profile bout.

Jake Paul has beaten former middleweight champion Julio César Chávez Jr. by unanimous decision. The YouTuber-turned-boxer dominated the early rounds Saturday night before holding on against Chávez’s late-round rally.

Boxer Julio César Chávez Jr. was arrested by federal agents in Studio City, California on Wednesday, four days after he fought Jake Paul in Anaheim.
