On Jan. 18, the FOX45 Weather Authority predicted a 30% chance of snow on Jan. 24. By Tuesday, computer models hinted at 12 to 18 inches of snow. The first crack at actually predicting snow totals on Wednesday showed 8 to 12 inches — revised down to 7 to 11 inches late Thursday.
