This week’s opponent is Mercer, an overmatched team on paper, but one that ranks sixth nationally in the FCS coaches poll. The Bears come into the game 9-1 and may be a tougher test than early-season games against Ball State and South Alabama.

According to Softball America’s recruiting rankings, Auburn softball secured six four-star signees, landing the overall No. 8 ranked signing class in the country. The six signees will join Auburn next fall ahead of the 2027 season.
