In one of the most highly-anticipated matchups in Marriott Center history, Kevin Young’s Cougars took down No. 23 Kansas in 91-57 fashion Tuesday night in Provo. The victory marks Young’s first against a ranked opponent in his career at BYU.

Hunter Dickinson posted a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds as No. 23 Kansas soundly defeated visiting Oklahoma State 96-64 in Big 12 action on Saturday afternoon.

This was the Kansas that was promised. On Saturday, Associated Press No. 23 Kansas (18-9, 9-7 in Big 12) made up for its historic loss at BYU on Tuesday with one of its most dominant performances of the season.

There are many ways for a ranked team, like No. 19 Arizona, to lose to a non-ranked team, like BYU. The Wildcats experienced one of the worst ones on Saturday. A back-and-forth Big 12 game in which neither team ever led by double digits ended in controversy in Tucson when the Cougars got an absolute gift of a foul in crunch time.

Richie Saunders hit two free throws on a questionable call with 3.2 seconds left as BYU won 96-95 Saturday night in Arizona. In one on the most entertaining college basketball games of the season, both offenses went toe-to-toe in a heavy weight fight.
